Biography

Mark Fingerlin combines his forty years of corporate leadership and Naval Aviation experience to provide executive leadership to CEOs and executive teams in a wide-range of corporate fields. Using his extensive “on the ground” experience, he draws from his personal experience and success to help chief executives become better leaders, make better decisions and achieve better results. A Certified Trust and Investment Advisor by the American Bankers Association, his extensive experience in the banking and financial field makes him a powerhouse combining knowledge of both the CEO and CFO functions. In his executive level roles, he’s worked for investment firms managing over $2 billion of institutional and private client assets, as well as assisting enterprises in complex financial institution acquisitions and mergers.

Key Accomplishments

• Establishing the Wealth Management Group for Montecito Bank and Trust, Mark also served as the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, managing over $1 billion of institutional and private client assets.
• Leading the effort to spin out a regional trust company, Mark helped form Danielson Trust, serving as President and CEO. He later merged this company with North American Trust for combined assets of over $2 billion.
• Working for a major West Coast banking institution, Mark established a unit that both developed and funded leveraged buy-outs and similar corporate transactions on a national basis.
• Pioneering the bank’s entry into private banking, Mark created a unit to provide discreet banking and investment services to affluent individuals and not-for-profit corporations. These responsibilities included serving as President and CEO of the bank’s multi-billion dollar trust company subsidiary.
