Coaching Bullies At The Top of The Organization

How to structure coaching regarding serious workplace behavior and performance concerns

Continuing Education Units

This program has been approved by International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches for 14 advanced competencies continuing education credits.

Program Overview

Corporate senior level executive coaches attending this interactive, 14 hour, web-based program will learn a framework and approach for assisting companies in managing a growing area of risk: executive bullying coming from the top of the organization. With 16 states introducing anti-bullying legislation, executive coaches are increasingly asked to assist clients by helping them retain executives who contribute in important ways but are putting their companies at risk.

This new area of practice has ethical, legal, and methodology issues beyond traditional executive coaching engagements. Participants will learn how to develop coaching/contractual agreements that structure the relationships for success while meeting professional and ethical guidelines. Participants will gain an understanding of relevant employment law and human resources practices as well as coaching methods for working with these clients, who may not be motivated.
